Kathleen D. Blaisdell, Psy.D. Principal Partner

Dr. Blaisdell has been practicing in Louisville since 2001. She primarily works with adults in individual psychotherapy. Her primary areas of interest include mood disorders, posttraumatic stress and other anxiety disorders, women's issues, and interpersonal concerns. She is especially interested in interpersonal neurobiology and mindfulness and utilizes EMDR in her clinical work.

Dr. Blaisdell completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Hanover College in 1994, where she received the Distinguished Award in Psychology. She received her masters and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Spalding University in 1996 and 2000 respectively, earning the Graduate Honors Citation for both degrees. Dr. Blaisdell's experience in both urban and rural setting and in multiple practice settings including community mental health, university counseling centers, and private practice have solidified her as a generalist. 

Dr. Blaisdell is a member of the Kentucky Psychological Association, having served in the past as a board member and chair of the continuing education committee.
